First 5 hospitals are preferable if you want this achievement, since there are ridiculously easy awards like, "doctor of the year", "nurse of the year" etc which you can't miss. Awards are given each new year on January 1. The hardest award for you to get in either hospital will be "no death award", but even this can be exploited through quick saving. I'd Like To Thank My Mother Win every award in a single hospital. It will give you hard time, but for the sake of achievement you will make higher flow of patients run through that doctor, thus developing him faster. You can also make that Surgeon work in GP. It probably does have increased chance to get surgeons, but they will most likely have other courses learnt that will ruin this achievement, besides, running doctor's campaign has less time to next candidate, meaning higher chance to get what you need. I don't know whether it's a bug or intended, but new employees with surgeon campaign won't give you surgeons every time. You can try using marketing, however, instead of using surgery campaign, use doctor campaign. Your best bet is to hire a doctor with at least 2-3 surgery courses learnt, preferably with fast learner and high energy traits, or at least with one of these. Now call me lucky, because I was one of very few people who was able to hire a doctor with 3 Surgery courses already learnt, the 4th slot unlocked, and only 600xp to the 5th and with good traits! Surgery patients are the longest to cure, meaning it will take a long time to develop a single doctor with all 5 slots. To earn this, you must train a doctor through all 5 Surgery courses. So its key to make a lot early.Hardest of the 3 of this type of achievement. I started wave 32 with a peak of $2.1M, without adding a single new staff member or building anything new, by wave 42 I was barely able to stay above $0, my monthly cost was around $150K (44 level 5 staff). To me the time/space was worth it, others may disagree. I did however have 3 surgery suites as I noticed the things holding up the end of every wave was surgery, so to not lose out on the revenue I built many of them. I would identify the patients with these when they were in line and sent them home before they even checked in. I did not build a Head-Office or a Resolution lab, there just simply was not enough patients that needed to it justify the use of space/time. Also had 8 GP offices and three psychology rooms. I had two of each other diagnosis room, including MEGA scanners and DNA labs. I followed the advice of others here and did NOT build X-rays or Cardio Rooms. I focused all the Janitors on maintenance and all the assistants on customer service, with at least one happiness. I maxed out doctors and nurses training with a random mix of skills, but focused on treatment and skills (DNA, Surgery, Radiology) and lowered the threshold for a positive diagnosis (75%). The key was to control costs, Keeping staff to a minimum was able to get all the way through wave 42 with only 5 assistants, 16 Nurses, 18 Doctors and 5 janitors (Plus 5 robo janitors). I was able to get it with just two-three buildings (the initial building, the one attached, and the building to the right). I was able to get it on the third attempt, the key is to control cost. My hospital was most certainly not pretty, but was very efficient. Ended up with just 11 Janitors though (gotta keep them costs down :D ) Lost 6/7 machines to explosions during the 42 waves :(. I found the earthquakes a massive pain on this level, would have been so much easier without them. At you will get 1.5x income during your curing spree (10+ in a row). Manually place your receptionists back to work during the influx of patients too, they can rest after the rush :D (I also brought a plot just for the receptionists so the chaos is away from the rooms)Īs others have said highly trained staff helps, especially treatment. Ended up with a reception room with 13 pods in it at the end. Got a bit close to the red on a few (wave 38/39 ish), was down to about 100,000 when the money started flowing in a couple of times :DĪs for the receptionists i started with 3 and added one every 3 waves or so until they could cope. My outgoings from wave 30+ were around 150,000 per month and at the end of each wave i had around 800,000 in the bank. managed to fit all the diagnostic rooms (including GPs) in the starting wing, then had 1 of each treatment room in another 2 wings, apart from pharmacy and surgery of which i had 2. Managed to complete wave 42, ended up with 11 GPs and 2 of each diagnostic room (except for xray - had none). Kicking patients out after you have reached your cure target worked for me.
